September 25,  2008  Free Verse plays the Crown Point Antique Auto Show
season finale at the Court House on Crown Point Square from 6pm to 9pm.

May 2008  Free Verse begins selling music downloads on Myspace.com

April 2008  Free Verse begins posting videos on YouTube.

March 2008  Free Verse posts two new Santana covers, Samba Pa Ti and
Europa.  Click on Europa on the navigator bar on the left to listen to Europa

February 2008   Free Verse posts its newest original, Valentine on the web
site, and posts its first video on Youtube.com.  Listen to Valentine or go to

November 2007   Free Verse's America covers are played by DJ Dr.
Johnny P. LoveTrain on the air at WBUL radio, the University of South
Florida's campus radio station.  This is the second time in its history Free
Verse has appeared on radio.  The first was in 1975 when the band appeared
on Chicago's
FM Loop as part of its prizes for winning the FM Loop's
region-wide
1975 Battle of the Bands.

October 2007   Free Verse records and posts Daisy Jane and Sister
Golden Hair
by America.

March 2007   Free Verse records and posts on the site their newest song,
Crazy Thing.  Steve Lowry posts Crazy Thing on the official America Fans
home page:  http://www.accessbackstage.com/america/.  Al adds the
Detailed History page to the web site.

December 2006   Three America cover songs are added to
freeverseband.com - Horse With No Name, Tin Man, and Ventura
Highway

Tuesday July 25, 2006   Free Verse performs live for the first time since
1992 at the
Clock Tower in downtown Hobart, Indiana.  

Samantha performs live as a member of Free Verse for the first time.

Sylvia also performs onstage with Free Verse for the first time on July 25,
and sings her first-ever original song,

Inaiana.  Samantha, Barbi, and Al meet
Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell of
America for the second time.  Samantha and Al hand Gerry and Dewey each a
copy of the

material performed by Albert.

February - March 2005 Albert and Samantha work on writing, arranging,
and recording From London to LA.

January 2005  Albert writes the America tribute song From London to LA.

December 2004   Al, Barbara (mom), and Samantha see America in concert.  
Al promises in the America chat room to write an America tribute song,
record his daughter singing it, and start a new music web site.  And here it is!
