Here is Oye Como Va, written by the Salsa legend Tito Puente, and made a
monster hit by the Santana band on the Abraxas album. Abraxas is a
landmark album in rock history, and the top-selling Latin Rock album of all time.
The title means "Listen to How [my Rhythm] Goes," Oye Como Va is one of the
most-danced-to songs in history. It is still played at parties around the world,
particularly in Latin America.
This version features Gabriel Medina playing the organ solo, which he smokes!
This version has a scratch lead guitar recording by Al, including some
sloppiness. Al and Dan Rodriguez plan to re-record the guitar and bass parts
for a YouTube video.
Enjoy!
